Eliokarmos sp ? Bo-wadrift Tanqua Karoo

Growing close to Austronea from previous post. Also discovered 2013. I may have a few seedlings in the mass of pots I have. I have only three plants adult plants but they flowered this year and have quite a bit of seed. Climbed the mountain slope again last year but there was nothing to be seen due to the extreme drought

I should have a better image of the flower somewhere. Still have to sort out recent pics.

Bulb exposed.

Looking down from habitat.

Petals 6, white , 9 mm long /weakly grooved slightly hooded.

Ovary length about 4 mm. Style about 6mm. Filaments 6 ,7 mm.
united  at base

Ovary cut in length

Ovary width about 2 mm

Austronea species (A. vermiformis affinity?) Bo-wadrift Tanqua Karoo

Only one plant found 2013. I lost it - was a bit damaged. Unfortunately no seedlings. It was growing on a mountain slope. Rather slippery uncomfortable terrain.

The leaf is very similar to Leopoort bulb . Also the flower anthers are similar. Just the colour is a bit different.

Nicipe Leopoort south of Oudtshoorn
